BoxTops for Education on Walmart.com Program Rules
Effective July 15, 2013, these Program Rules govern the BoxTops for Education on Walmart.com (“Program”) featured on Classrooms by Walmart.com (“Classrooms”) or Walmart.com (the “Site”). General Mills Sales, Inc. (“General Mills”) reserves the right to make changes to these Program Rules at any time. Please check www.walmart.com/BoxTops from time to time to ensure you are aware of any updates or changes. Your participation in the Program indicates acceptance of these Program Rules.
1. The Program
The Program is operated by General Mills and is jointly-marketed by
General Mills and Wal-Mart.com USA, LLC (“Walmart”) on or in connection with
Classrooms. Classrooms is a Walmart initiative operated by Walmart. The Site
(excluding the Program as featured on the Site) is also operated by Walmart.
Users registered with the Program and the Site can earn eBoxTops for their
designated school on purchases of eligible products made on the Site. These
eBoxTops are electronic credits that will be awarded by General Mills
directly to your designated, eligible school. Eligible products will be
identified on their product pages on the Site with the following Box Tops for

Eligible bundled products will be counted as one product per bundle. Neither General Mills nor Walmart guarantee that all or particular quantities of eligible products are or will be available at your desired time of purchase on the Site.
From time to time, General Mills may offer other opportunities for you to earn eBoxTops related to the Program and your purchases made on the Site.
The Program and all eBoxTops are subject to and governed by the Box Tops for Education program (“BTFE Program”) Official Rules available at www.boxtops4education.com/common/Rules.aspx. as amended from time to time (“BTFE Official Rules”). All purchases made on the Site are subject to and governed by the applicable Walmart terms.
The Program is open to legal residents of any of the 50 United States (or the District of Columbia) who register on the Site who are at least 18 years of age. You may designate a school that complies with the eligibility requirements in the BTFE Official Rules, and is enrolled and active in the BTFE Program. By registering with the Program and the Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age as of the date of your registration.
You may register for the Program by clicking the Register Here link on the product page or going to classrooms.walmart.com/eboxtops/signup and following the onscreen instructions to create an account. You must be registered on the Site and have a unique, valid email address to create an account. If you already have an account , you may register for the Program when you log into your account on classrooms.walmart.com/eboxtops/signup. During the registration process, you must select a participating school. Please note that the participating school that you select during the registration process will be the school that is credited with your eBoxTops for this Program, even if you have selected a different school on the Box Tops for Education website. If you wish to change your designated school for this Program, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. There is a limit of one account per person and per email address. Walmart reserves the right to terminate your account at any time during the Program, in its sole discretion.
After you purchase an eligible product on the Site, your earnings will be updated to reflect the recent transaction with the amount of the eBoxTops credit earned. The eBoxTops credit will be applied to your school’s account by General Mills within 14 days and your school’s earnings will be updated at that time. eBoxTops credits will not be awarded if the order is cancelled.
General Mills is not liable or responsible in any way for inaccuracies that may be displayed in your account relating to eBoxTops, whether as a result of human or mechanical error or otherwise.
General Mills reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse to apply or rescind eBoxTops credits to your school if General Mills determines that the purchase of an eligibleproduct was fraudulent or prohibited by these Program Rules, or that you used the Program in a manner inconsistent with these Program Rules or any federal, state or local, laws, statutes or ordinances. In addition, General Mills shall have the right to take appropriate administrative and/or legal action, including criminal prosecution, as it deems necessary in its sole discretion. eBoxTops may not be transferred or assigned.
5. Your Account
You can access a record of the eBoxTops credits you have earned for your school through the Program by logging in to your Walmart.com account and going to your school page. The number of eBoxTops earned by you on the Site will be recorded and tracked in your Walmart.com account as well as the total amount of money earned by your school during the current school year. If you made an eligible purchase and do not see it posted to your account as pending within 30 days, please email Walmart at email@example.com to report the error so that it can investigate. Please keep all records of your purchases for at least six months just in case there is a problem.
6. Modifications and Termination of the Program
General Mills reserves the right to change, terminate or temporarily suspend the Program at any time, for any reason, in its sole discretion, including, but not limited to, the duration of the Program, the number of eBoxTops earned for purchases on the Site, and the participating products. Your continued participation in the Program constitutes your acceptance of any changes to the Program.
7. Submitted Ideas, Suggestions and Information
All comments, suggestions, ideas, notes, drawings, concepts, recipes or other information disclosed or offered to General Mills through the Program shall be deemed and shall remain the property of General Mills. By submitting any suggestion, idea or other information, you consent to its use by General Mills, including but not limited to its publication. You understand and acknowledge that General Mills has both internal resources and other external resources which may have developed or may in the future develop ideas identical to or similar to the suggestion or comments and that General Mills is only willing to consider the suggestion on these terms. In any event, any suggestion, comment or idea is not submitted in confidence and General Mills assumes no obligation express or implied by considering it. Without limitation, General Mills shall exclusively own all now known or hereafter existing rights to the suggestions of every kind and nature throughout the world and shall be entitled to unrestricted use of the suggestions or comments for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise without compensation to the provider of the suggestion(s).
The use of “cookies” is necessary to accurately track your purchases on the Site. If you set your Internet browser to disable or reject cookies, we will not be able to track and confirm your purchases and make the proper eBoxTops credit to your school.
10. Limitation of Liability
General Mills and Walmart are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of information, for problems related to any of the equipment or programming associated with the Program or utilized you, for any human error, for any interruption, deletion, omission, defect, or line failure of any telephone network, cellular network, or electronic transmission, for problems relating to computer equipment, software, inability to access the Site, or for any other technical or non-technical error or malfunction. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, NEGLIGENCE, SHALL GENERAL MILLS OR WALMART BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE PROGRAM, EVEN IF THEY OR THEIR AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVES HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE PROGRAM, YOU WAIVE ANY AND ALL RIGHTS TO BRING ANY CLAIM OR ACTION RELATED TO SUCH MATTERS IN ANY FORUM BEYOND ONE YEAR AFTER THE FIRST OCCURRENCE OF THE KIND OF ACT, EVENT, CONDITION OR OMISSION UPON WHICH THE CLAIM OR ACTION IS BASED.
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Program Rules, or the rights and obligations of you and General Mills in connection with the Program, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Minnesota, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Minnesota. You andGeneral Mills agree to exclusive jurisdiction of all matters related to the Program in the State of Minnesota. These Program Rules constitute the entire agreement between you andGeneral Mills pertaining to the Program and supersede all prior or other arrangements, understandings, negotiations and discussions, whether oral or written. No waiver of any of the provisions of these Program Rules shall be deemed or shall constitute a waiver of any other provisions hereof (whether or not similar), nor shall waiver constitute a continuing waiver unless otherwise expressly provided. If any provision of these Program Rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed from the remainder of these Program Rules, which will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
